We are passionate about teaching debate.

 

 

This course has been developed by some of the world's most successful university debaters.  We want to teach you how we learned to debate.

Kiran Iyer won the World Universities Debating Championships and the Australasian Debating Championships in 2012.  He studied a Masters of Law at Harvard Law School, and was previously an associate to the Chief Justice of Australia.  Kiran has taught debating in seven countries.

Nita Rao won the World Universities Debating Championships in 2013.  She studied a Masters of Law at Georgetown Law School.  Nita has taught debating in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

Victor Finkel won the World Universities Debating Championships in 2011 where he was voted Best Speaker in the World.  He studied at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar and now works as a management consultant.

Damien Bruckard was a finalist at the Australasian Debating Championships and President of the Monash Association of Debaters.  Damien has taught debating in six countries.

Sashi Balaraman was a finalist at the World Debating Championships and the Australasian Debating Championships numerous times.  He is a political adviser and has previously worked as a corporate lawyer and a stockbroker.  Sashi has taught debating in seven countries.

Ravi Dutta was a runner-up at the World Debating Championships in 2009 and a semi-finalist at the Australasian Debating Championships in 2009.  He has taught debating in six countries.
